Instant pot Hawaiia

One of my favourite recipes that I recently made. Instant pot Hawaiian chicken tacos You can use tortilla shells or you can eat them in a bowl it’s up to you! 1 1/4 lb chicken thighs, boneless skinless 1 cabbage 1/4 cup fresh chives 1 tsp dried dill 4 cloves garlic 1 half red onion 1/4 cup fresh parsley 2 cups pineapple fresh 1/2 cup mayonnaise (can use avocado mayo as well we did!) 1 tbsp mustard 1 tbsp sriracha Black pepper Chilli powder Sea salt 1/4 cup olive oil 1 tbsp vinegar (can use apple cider) 1 tsp cumin 1/2 water Tortillas (optional or gluten free) Place chicken in the instant pot add diced pineapple, red onion, garlic, spices and salt, Sriracha sauce, mustard and water. Close lid and set instant pot for 10 minutes. Meanwhile add mayo, vinegar,dill, parsley to a food processor and blend. Chop up cabbage and blend with sauce Once chicken is done in the instant pot, shred the chicken and put the chicken mixture on a baking pan and in the oven for 10 mins. Once done serve on rice or tortilla add cabbage mix on top and Enjoy!! Ps. You’re welcome 😉

A healthy outside begins on the inside ⚡️⚡️2 weeks -5 lbs! Whoo!! Okay let’s just say I may of overindulged this summer 🍹🌯🌮🍟 😬however I do notice that after 30 I am just not able to eat like I used too! I guess that’s just part of life! Oh and high waist pants for the win too!😆I want to note that I am all for body positivity however if your just not happy in your skin THERE IS NO SHAME IN CHANGING THAT!! I’ve adjusted the way I’ve been eating recently… As an athlete my whole life and all the way through college on a full scholarship for swimming, I was able to eat whatever I want whenever I want and as much as I want! Those days are long gone but it’s taken a lot of practice and discipline to change old habits! I’m so happy 😀 with my 2 week results, a little embarrassed of that first picture but progress is happening! Cheers 🥂 this week I’m focusing more on fitness and portion control. I’ve always been instant gratification or nothing so this steady progress drives me crazy sometimes lol learning to be patient with myself😻 Each day I am presented with the option to make it the best day, and that’s been the mindset change for me that has helped me push thru. Naturally as a mom it’s easy to put our needs to the side cause we are so used to serving others! Mamas especially make time for yourself!! Let’s treat each day as a day to be the very best versions of ourselves! Happy Wednesday Friends #kayscleaneats
